Commitment Expectations
We understand that during the summer, jobs, family vacations, cottaging and social activities ramp up – however, there is an expected level of commitment to the team. As coaches, we volunteer our time to developing practice plans, game strategies and scheduling - on top of bi-weekly field practices, games and tournaments, and developing the athletes. If potential team players already know they can’t commit to attending practices/games/tournaments/team activities, please recognize that accepting a position on the team means that someone else had to be released who really wanted to play and make the commitment we expect. Please be considerate.
NEW TO 2018 - Our schedule is taking into consideration key timelines for the athletes (Bluestfest, prom, exams, long weekends, weeks off...) and we are doing our best to accommodate what we can. By us respecting what's important to the athletes during the summer months, we're expecting the same respect in return with regards to attendance at practices, games, tournaments and events and at least 48 hrs notice if you cannot attend.
If you have been awarded a position on the team, within 48 hours, a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot must be sent to the team, and will go towards the athletes cost for the season.
