SFBYL 2017 MANDATORY Coaches Clinic

This is MANDATORY requirement for each SFYBL team, in each division to have at least one representative (a rostered coach, assistant coach, team manager, volunteer) attend our yearly coaches clinic.

Event takes place RAIN or SHINE. If it rains, we will be limited to indoors. If it's dry, we will use the outdoor areas too.

What do I bring to the event?

Bring your glove, water and snack. Do come dressed to move, as these are live drills during the rotations.

Who should attend? Any rostered coach, assistant coach, team manager, volunteer is welcome to attend our yearly coaches clinic. Note: each team, in each division is required to have at least one representative attend the whole session. Each year, we go over basic baseball elements, coaches guidelines, crowd control, code of conduct and much more. Even the most experienced coaches will walk away with some new knowledge.

There are two steps in order for Teams to receive their Practice Field Permits, game balls, coaches cards, PONY Rule books:

1. ALL coaches assistant coach, team manager, volunteers, any adult that will have contact with players on the practice field and game day MUST be volunteer cleared.

2. Each SFYBL team in each division MUST have at least one representative (a rostered coach, assistant coach, team manager, volunteer) attend our yearly coaches clinic.
